Statsbygg requests, in connection with project 1105601 UiO Life Science, user equipment for tenders for ultra freezers (-86oC) and cross-freezers (-150oC). Sub-contract K922.04 Ultra freezers include ultra freezers, cupboard and coffin freezers of various sizes as further described in 3.0A Requirement Specification k922.05 Cross-freezers in sub-contract K922.05 shall be used for long-term storage of biological materials and is a strategic step for replacing cryotanks (LN). Further specifications are described in annex 3.0B Requirement Specification K922.05.For this procurement, the exclusion provisions in PPR § 7-9 (4) are used, as it is clear that the climate and environmental requirements in the procurement will result in a better climate and environmental effect than the use of the award criteria. The climate impact identified for the procurement is connected to the extraction of raw materials for the production and production of the equipment and components thereof. The product requirement levels are at a level where, according to our knowledge and experience from the market, the market is very unlikely to be able to deliver products that, in a competition, can document a clearly better overall climate and environmental effect.
