The scope consists of the respective complete substructure and topside of the offshore platform including transport & installation and the civil works of the onshore substation including its hvdc systems, both with the corresponding electrical equipment, non-electrical equipment as well as other reasonably required scope and services for a fully functional 2 GW converter system ready for operation and connection to the German HV grid. Note: The scope of this award is limited to the offshore converter station, including the jacket substructure, topside, auxiliary and ancillary systems, as well as the transport and installation of the offshore platform and jacket substructure. KG For reasons of confidentiality of business secrets, the contract value will not be published for the moment. A standard market price in the nine-figure range was agreed. 2 GW HVDC Offshore Platform and Converter System (2 GW HVDC System) for the NSC1 Project The underlying offshore grid connection system NorthSeaConnector 1 Project must be integrated into a Multi-Terminal-Hub and must be interoperable with the converters already being implemented by Tennet TSO GmbH (TTG). In order to guarantee the connectivity of the HVDC connection via the DC hub Heide, which is bindingly specified in the confirmed NEP 2037/2045, and the interoperability of the 50Hertz components in this "closed system", a technically compatible converter pair must be procured, as was procured by TTG from Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG in April 2023. For market and technical reasons, the offshore platform, in which the offshore converter will be installed, is integral part of the EPCI contract. The EPCI contract for the yard scope was therefore concluded with NSORe NSC 1 GmbH. The HVDC scope remains with Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG.. Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG and NSORe NSC 1 GmbH form a consortium. For reasons of confidentiality of business secrets, the contract value will not be published for the moment.
