The objective is to purchase a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolysis test station for single cell testing. The cell surface will be 5 to 25 cm2. The voltage can be as high as 5V, and the required maximum current is 50 A. - Fully automated PEM electrolyser test station - PC with flat panel monitor including automation software control for safe test stand operation - Continuous data acquisition system (temperatures, pressure, flows, ... ) - Alarm management system for safe and unattended 24/7 operation - Nitrogen safety purge - Gas leak detection (H2) to comply with CE directiveCell and other parameters monitoring and control:- 2 separate PID controllers for cell end plate heaters- Cell temperature control: 80-100°C +/- 1°C - Cell voltage monitoring: 1 cell, 5 V dc - Power supply up to 50 A, constant current/voltage - automated water flow control (up to 0.01 LPM)- recirculation loop with conductivity monitoring.- Integrated de-ionised water supply system from storage tank including booster pump.- Anode and cathode automatic back pressure control: up to 5 bara - Anode and cathode pressure measurement range: 0 to 5 bara - Pipes and fittings: Stainless steel - Mass flow meters for cathode and anode exhaust gas flow measurement - H2 flow measurement: Mass Flow Meter up to 2NLPM - O2 flow measurement: Mass Flow Meter up to 1NLPM - on-site commissioning and face to face user trainingThe electrolysis test station should be equipped with an electrochemical potentiostat/galvanostat/impedancemeter and corresponding software.
